About Us
The library is housed in a building which was originally a train station designed by Bradford Gilbert, built in 1892. In the early 1970's the railroad discontinued the use of the building as a station and Readington Township negotiated with the Central Railroad of New Jersey to use the building as a library. The renovation of the library began in May 1981 and opened seven months later.
