Making the Future Workshop
Applications being accepted for grant funded Making Workshop for ages 12-16! We got a grant! We are excited to announce we've been selected to receive $15,500 from the Cognizant Corporation as part of their Making the Future Computational Thinking Education Initiative . Hunterdon County residents age 12-16 are invited to apply for the first 10 session online workshop. Spend your Saturday mornings making Xprojects jam packed with all kinds of art and technology from the comfort of your home. All materials provided free. High School Students make a difference in this workshop!
August 17, 1-4pm OnlineLearn what Design Thinking is and help solve a real challenge in your community and earn community service hours! Coordinated by the library in cooperation with Veronica Armour, an expert on Design Thinking from Rutgers University and the Family Success of Flemington, participants will be immersed into the shoes of a new international student at the high school. What's it like? We'll use the Design Thinking process to develop solutions for improving the experience of new students. NC TEEN WRITERS GROUP
Writers´ Group Meeting Schedule
Wednesday, TBD | 7:00 - 8:30PM
The Teen Writers´ Group usually meets at the North County Branch in Clinton on the third Wednesday of each month from 7:00-8:30pm. The group is open to serious writers in grades 6 through 9 who, under the guidance of an adult facilitator, exchange helpful suggestions and criticism in a positive and supportive environment.
