• Volunteers for Operation Outreach of the Friends of the Hunterdon County Library have established a program to bring books to people who are homebound.
• Volunteers will pick up and deliver books to and from your home.
• The library can provide books in regular or large print and/or books on tape or on CD.

In partnership with the New Jersey State Library Talking Book and Braille Center (TBBC) the library offers a no-cost service to county residents whose ability to read may be affected by a physical impairment, a reading disability or a vision impairment. Services include:

• Audiobook players
• Audiobooks
• Braille Books
• Access to downloadable audiobooks, magazines and Braille
• 24/7 audio news reading services, Audiovision and Newsline

A wide variety of reference materials concerning disabilities are available in the Reference Department on the main level.

The Hunterdon County Library is a designated service center for the NJ State Library Talking Book & Braille Center (TBBC). Their services are available to anyone whose ability to read may be affected by a physical impairment, a reading disability, or a vision impairment. Anyone who has difficulty reading standard print or holding a book or turning the pages of a book may be eligible for the TBBC's services.

A wheelchair is available for patrons to use in the library. If you need one, please ask at the Circulation Desk.
